At present we are doing it through opening the report --> Click on Share --> Put the email id of the user --> Click on Share. I want to give the access of the reports to users directly through the SQL Server. If any user is added to the user table of our SQL DB then the reports should be directly accessible to the user.
Also for row level security in PowerBI Service we are adding the email id's under the particular role in Security section of Datasets. We want that also should happen automatically from SQL DB.
Is there any way to achieve it ?
Hi,
you just need to create a SQL group add that in the permission tab during updating the app.
Just share the App link off the dashboard to the user and add users in the group.
Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous ,
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
