Howto change PowerBI prefix

Hi,

Since a week or so PowerBI doesn't show the Metric Prefix anymore. Instead, it shows "Duizenden" since my native language is dutch. In English, this means it shows "Thousands".

I want PowerBI to use the M, K, G, ... prefixes, how can I do this?

Thanks!

@JBeyers

It's an option inside the visual. There you can specify the unit of the Measure/KPI you are showing.

@Bjoern I know, but I want to use PowerBI to show "K" instead of "Thousands" or "M" instead of "Millions".

Like it was a few weeks ago.

Also I'd like to use the English unit instead of dutch/deutsch units.

Do you know how to change it?

I am using English so I haven't tried it but it seems like it can help you. Describing what you asked in DAX.

You can change the file import region format by File-> Options & Settings-> Options ->Under Current File

@JBeyers

First question: I do not know. Perhaps it was changed by default.

If you want to use English units, you have to install the English PBI desktop version. For the Web-Service it is determined by your local language settings of the windows-user / MSIE.
