How to refresh Power BI datasets every 5 minutes with Power BI Pro License

My customer is having the Power BI Pro license. We have uploaded the Power BI reports with Import mode and they are not interested to use Direct Query since it will cause a huge performance issue due to large number of data.

They need the report dataset to get refreshed every 5 minutes so that they can make the report 90% live. How this is possible ?

Hi. I would suggest three alternatives. One of them is premium/embed, when you have your own capacity you can refresh 48 times a day. It's not every 5 minutes but it's pretty close. The second option is considering moving the data model to analysis services that can be refresh everytime you want and them you can live connect that with Power Bi. The third one would be creating a streaming dataset. The only warning I would say about this last one is that those datasets are prepared to be streaming stuff. I mean certain kpis and everything merged in one table that will show those small things I need to know so fast.

Be sure that this is not a whim because real big model bi in streaming is not a good option.
