How to pass a value dynamically using query string filter in URL

Hi Team ,

I went through the Power BI document to "Filter the report using query string parameters in URL"

There is one thing that is need more clarity on is as follows:

I have an external webpage. On that webpage suppose a user selects a customer ID that Customer ID should flow as a Value in the query string parameter in URL.

We have given a power BI url on that web page for users to directly route to the Power BI report. Now when users click on that button on the webpage (which opens the PBI report ) it opens the report without any filter .

eg : 

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/rdlreports/xxxxxxx-abc7-40f0-b456-febzf9cdda4d?rp:Salesperson= "Can the value get added dynamically here "
