How to export/download a Power BI report data as an excel/csv to a FTP path?

Hi,

We want a report's data to be exported or downloaded to an FTP path as an excel/csv from Power BI.

We tried useing Power Automate in Power BI, but it is not coming through.

Please suggest.

Hi @Anonymous ,

This is currently not supported.You can use Microsoft Flow to automate the extraction of your data from the FTP server to your OneDrive or SharePoint.

I need the data from the report to get downloaded to a FTP location.

Hi @Anonymous ,

There is still no direct functionality to export Power BI reports(.pbix files) to Excel format. 

You might consider using Power BI Report Builder(.rdl files) which gives an out-of-the-box functionality to excel export.
