How to change date filter type in PowerBI service

Hi all,

I have configured in PowerBI Desktop a date slicer to change options between Relative Date, Dropdown, After, etc. The problem that I have is when I publish my report to powerBI.com that option doesn't appear even I can't see the little arow on top of my slicer where I can change the options, is there a problem with that? Do I need to select another option? Is that function doesn't exist in PowerBI service?

Best regards

Hey @Anonymous ,

basically, it's not possible to change the slicer type.

If you want to change the slicer type after the pbix is published to the workspace you, meaning a report developer, can change the slicer type if you enter the edit mode of the report.

After the report is published to an app, the above will not be possible any longer.

Regards,
Tom
