Hi @Edin_n
As you mentioned that, the report is okay on desktop power bi.

Below are steps that may help you identify the root cause of the issue: -

(I) Please try to refresh your semantic model in Power BI Desktop and check if you are getting any error.

(II) Check for necessary source permissions, In Power BI Desktop, go to File > Options and settings > Data source settings. Check that the connections are set up correctly and that there are no issues with the Excel file or the semantic model connection.

(III) If you identify any data sources you don't have access to in the semantic model, you'll need to request permissions from the administrator or owner of those sources.

(IV) If the semantic model is on-premises, please make sure you have a properly configured data gateway that is set up to connect to the on-premises semantic model. Ensure that the data source for your semantic model is added to the gateway and the credentials are set up correctly.

(VI) If the Excel file is located on your local machine, try uploading it to SharePoint. Then, update the source connection in Power BI Desktop, refresh the semantic model within Power BI Desktop, and check if you are still encountering any errors.

@Edin_n what it says when you click on "show details?"
Could you share whole page relevant to settings of dataset in Power BI Service? Is section regarding data credentials greyed out?

Yes, is greyed out! cant click on that!

@Edin_n when you go to this new dataset settings on Power BI Service, do you get error "One or mode cloud data sources for this semantic model have been deleted.":

nandic_0-1729686493907.png

If yes, this is because you are mixing live connection to new Excel file that you added - which is i suppose located on your local machine?
In that case, Power BI Service doesn't know how to refresh data which is stored locally on your machine so you need to instal Power BI Gateway.
Once you have it, you will be able to map it. Check more details on this link: https://analyticsphx.com/troubleshooting/power-bi-how-to-fix-one-or-more-cloud-data-sources-for-this...

If Excel is not located on your local machine, but on some shared location (onedrive, sharepoint), let me know and will check further options.

Cheers,
Nemanja

Hi Nemanja,
Thanks you for the  reply!

The report is okay on desktop power bi,
When publish and then in web it shows erorrs,
Tabels and graphs that are using excel files as data source, are showing perfectly, desktop and web(before, after publish).

Problem: is with the semantic model that is failing to show data, and ask like the image below:
