Help in Data Alert in July Update

Hi all,

In july update we receive the Data Alert right ? I have few doubts please clarify me.

1. when i receive the email alert ? ( i set at every 1 hour)

My Understanding : when the data reach my condition which i set , then i will get the email alert right.

My Doubt :  

1. whenever i did manual refresh on dataset and it reach my condition, shall i receive email alert ?

2. If i set schedule  refresh every 30 min and even data also changing , could i receive email alert every 30 min?

3. My condition in > 30 ,first time it will reach 45 i will receive mail,after next one hour my value is 45 ,Could i receive alert ot not ?

pls help me , i have lot and lot of confusion on this from last 3 days.
