Hello,
I have 2 different Reports, totally different, but I want them to be in the same place (Workspace, Business App) Any creative ideas ?
I want the end user to have them both in the same enviroment, Workspace is easy but any other creative ideas ?

Hey @MAwwad ,
this works like a charm.
Consider a workspace being a container that hosts multiple artifacts, like datasets (a dataset can utilize data from one or more data sources), dataflows, reports, paginated reports, dashboards, workbooks, ...)
A Power BI app is also a container that contains a subset of the artifact, a selection of reports, paginated reports, and dashboards available in the workspace.
I often explain the workspace as the kitchen and the Power BI App as the dining room.
One aspect we have to consider, a report and dashboard will be copied when the App is created. This means there are two instances of a report. When the report is updated, e.g. a new report page is added, the App has to be updated.
But there is only one instance of the dataset(s). Both instances of a report (workspace and App) use the same dataset(s).
Regards,
Tom
Hello
Okay I know you can use apps, but how can I have both reports in the same app ? knowing that they are totally different with different datasets as well !
Hey @MAwwad ,
if you do now have migrated your app to the new "Multiple audiences" experience then the content will look similar to the following picture:
Toggle the "Include in app" accordingly.
If you already migrated your app to the new experience, you have to add the content in the content tab during the app configuration:
Of course, both report have to be published to the same workspace 😉
Regards,
Tom
That can work even if they have different datasources ?

Hey @MAwwad ,
Maybe I'm missing something, but I recommend using a Power BI App for sharing content with your users: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-create-distribute-apps?WT.mc_id...
A Power BI App can host multiple reports.
Hopefully, this provides what you are looking for.

Tom
