Is it possible to have an HTML file of the Power BI reporting?

In addition lbendlin ‘s reply, save your report as a HTML file is not supported in Power BI.
Your report will be saved in pbix file in local.
You could get html code by Publish to web function or other embed functions.

Nobody can stop you from saving the page code, but other than that the answer is no. HTML5 is not really conducive to be stored as mhtml etc.
