GetTenantSettings REST API Removed

Hi there,

Less than 5 months ago, I was using the new GetTenantSettings REST API (based on this article: New Tenant Setting Notifications and GetTenantSettings API | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Pow...), but now the link I saved, as well as the link from the article, no longer works. I haven't found anything regarding this REST API in the official Microsoft documentation.

Is anyone aware of what happened? Maybe I missed something.

Thank you!

imik

Hi @imik I see that link doesn't work anymore and the Rest API isn't listed if you search for it on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/

The rest api does still work if you run it, tested it on my end.

I would suggest looking for a blog post on the topic if there is any info you require on it.

Hi @Wikkleyn_81,

You're right, I forgot to mention that the REST API actually works for me, e.g., through PowerShell. However, I was surprised to see it disappear from the MS docs. I couldn’t find any mention of this in other blogs or official MS docs either.

Thank you for your quick reply!
