Dear Team,
After configuring the incremental refesh and published the dataset in to server .Not able to see the Future dates.
Even tried Implementing effective date using XMLA end points scripts still no luck .
Kindly suggest hoe to fix the issue.
Like used for xmla end point: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Incremental-Refresh-Future-values/m-p/1394120

Hi @Anonymous ,
According to your configurations, when you refresh the dataset, firstly , will check if the SQDRRefreshTime has changed, if yes, will according to the current time to refresh the 18 months before the refresh date.
The Archive data starting before refresh date setting determines the historical period in which rows with a date/time in that period are included in the dataset, plus rows for the current incomplete historical period, plus rows in the refresh period up to the current date and time.
For example, if we specify 5 years, our table will store the last five whole years of historical data in year partitions, plus rows for the current year in quarter, month, or day partitions, up to and including the refresh period.
The Incrementally refresh data starting before refresh date setting determines the incremental refresh period in which all rows with a date/time in that period are included in the refresh partition(s) and refreshed with each refresh operation.
For example, if we specify a refresh period of 3 days, with each refresh operation the service overrides the RangeStart and RangeEnd parameters to create a query for rows with a date/time within a three-day period, beginning and ending dependent on the current date and time. Rows with a date/time in the last 3 days up to the current refresh operation time are refreshed. With this type of policy, we can expect our FactInternetSales dataset table in the service, which averages 10k new rows per day, to refresh roughly 30k rows with each refresh operation.

Trata reproducir lo que muestra en la imagen. crea una columna alterna y en ésta configura los Parámetros Start y End, Continúa con todos los pasos que ya conoces. Parece que me esta funcionando la actualización incremental con datos futuros.
Thanks Binbin Yu for responding .refer the below screenshots caputred from Power BI and DB.Not able to see the all the records in power Bi(Future Date columns) when compared with Db and also dates in future date column >current date also missing. Please let me know still you required any clarifications.

Hi @Anonymous ,
I'm a little confused about your needs, Could you please explain them further? but the configuration that you set for incremental refresh is correct.
For more details about incremental refresh, you can read related document: Incremental refresh for datasets and real-time data in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn , Configure incremental refresh and real-time data for Power BI datasets - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hi, even though this has been marked as solved, I don't believe it is. The question is quite simply, when performing an incremental refresh, how do we get the Power BI service to include records that are timestamped in the future when compared to the current refresh time? We totally get the historical partition and current partition, which works backwards from the refresh date, but what about records that are greater then today's date and are required in the model?
Tengo el mismo problema
Totaly agree with mrh this is not solved. There doesnt appear to be anyway to use incremental refresh with data that is in the future compaire the the current date
It is a shame this hasn't been adressed yet, I'm facing the exact same issue as OP and it's frustrating to not be able to find barely anyone talking about it
