I have a Customer Name chart which shows Net Sales for all customers.
I have another chart, which shows trend of Net Revenue for past 12 months. I have a Customer Name slicer which specifically filters on this trend chart.
What I want to do is, when I select a customer in the Customer Name chart, it should filter the slicer of the Trend chart.
The reason why the customer name chart does not filter the trend chart is becuase they both have different time frames of data. So selecting a value in customer name chart makes the trend chart go blank. Hence we need to add aditional slicer for the trend chart.
Hi. I'm sorry but they way PowerBi works is that slicers are the only visual that can filter another slicer. Visuals only filter visuals and not slicers. Considering that maybe you can play a little more with slicers, small ones, or like popups or even filter pane to help you get something similar to the experience you want to build.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
