Hi I am trying to filter out zeroes in rows for a particular report:
For example,
I have a report with multiple measures and thousands of rows that have zeroes in them and i tried the following options:
1) Individually filtering columns to display only those rows that are not zero like Measure 1 is not 0 and so on..
2) Create a new measure to calculate the totals and filter out 0's like:
New Measure = Measure 1 + Measure 2 + Measure 3 + Measure 4 + Measure 5
Filter condition: New Measure is not 0
In this case it should filter out Row 5, 7 and 8
3) New Measure = IF(Measure 1 + Measure 2 + Measure 3 + Measure 4 + Measure 5 = 0, 'Yes', 'No')
Filter condition: New Measure is No
In all the above methods, the rows are getting filtered but my totals are changing and they ar off by a few decimals.
What is the best method to achieve this so that I filter out all 0's and maintain my totals?
Please assist.
Thanks,
Aashrit
After testing, when filtering by the conditions, the total is still the same as the first. you can refer to the following picture.
Can you provide some more information or sample file?
Best Regards!

Hi @Anonymous
Before filtering:
After filtering:
Not sure why my data disappears. Thsi is the first time it happened. Earlier would remove 0's and give a different total.
