I connected an Excel file to a power BI dataset and there is a column I'm using as a slicer. That column contains 10 unique values but I only want to display 3 of those values. There is data for all values but only these 3 values are needed in this report, I want to remove all other values from the slicer options.
In Power BI desktop, I filtered out the values I don't need using Filters on all Pages. Then the slicer on the page automatically shows the 3 values I want to show. Can I do something similar in Excel?
Are you doing Analyze in Excel or do you use a "live connection" from a visual?
