Filter a field without drilling down

Hi PowerAutomater 

Here’s how you can filter the pie chart without affecting the entire page in Power BI:

1. Add the Pie Chart:

   • Drag the Divisions field into the Legend section.
   • Drag the Responses field into the Values section and set it to "Count".

2. Filter for "Approved" Only:

   • Click on the pie chart to select it.
   • Open the Filters on this visual pane (on the right side).
   • Drag the Responses field into this filter pane.
   • Set the filter to show only "Approved".

3. Ensure Page Filter Isn’t Affected:

   • Since this filter is applied only in the "Filters on this visual" section, it won't impact the rest of your page.

Now, your pie chart will only show data for "Approved" responses, grouped by division, without changing the rest of your visuals.
