Featured Dashboard in Group Workspace

When someone in my group workspace logs in I am trying to automatically route them to a specific dashboard.  

I note that Featured Dashboard works fine if you are the owner of the dashboard - you go straight to your featured dashboard. However when you are not the owner of a dashboard (it is owned by the group administrator) and you set it as featured you are not taken to the dashboard on login. 

Is there any way to set a default dashboard for everyone in the group?

@KarlinOz The simple answer is "no". The more long winded version sounds something like "Group Workspaces are designed more for content creation rather than end user buckets for report consumption. Since everyone already has their own workspace that they can manage however they like, I don't know how much effort is actually going to be invested in trying to make Groups yet another personalized space."

Ok thanks for that @Seth_C_Bauer, so it sounds like maybe I need to create a content pack rather than having a group workspace.

@KarlinOz I don't want to say "You have to", but given how the tool features work, it might serve you better in the long run.

Most all my report sharing is done via dashboard, in terms of escalating to more power users, I would say I use Content Packs for only the most curated data sets.
