Failed to test the connection to your data source. Please retry your credentials.Learn more

Dear users,

I would like plan automated update of my reports. To to that I need to have valid Data Source Credentials. I have two types of source: file and repository. For files it's ok (I used the direct link of sharepoint). For repository, when I copy/paste the direct link of the repository from Sharepoint, I have the following error in PB Desktop:

So the direct consequence, when my report is published, in the Dataset settings online, my sources are not connected :

Do you have any ideas?

Thank you and happy christmas

Best regards,

Hi  @alexte75 ,

You can remove the failing data sources in data source setting.

We have had users with similar experiences to yours in the past, you can refer to this post below to see how they solved it.

Thank @v-yadongf-msft  for your feedback. Yes I did use the source from sharepoint but for the repository source it did not work ! PB Desktop wouldn't accept a sharepoint link for a repository, where I have lots of excel file which are my sources...
