I would like to know
1. How is the column Timepoint in table Timepoints generated?
2. How are 2 tables TimePointInteractiveDetail/TimePointBackgroundDetail generated?
Because table TimePointInteractiveDetail/TimePointBackgroundDetail only shows data when Timepoints[Timepoint] is single selected, but 2 fact tables do not have relationship with table Timepoint.
Hi Ibendlin,
The workspace is Premium per User but I cannot either view the data model or download the semantic model. Therefore, I don't know how the column TimePoints[TimePoint] is created.
no, not there. In Power BI Desktop, connect to "Power BI semantic models" - can you select the capacity model from there?
Hi Ibendlin,
I can. However, it only shows relationships. I need to know how the tables & the columns are generated. I believe they are not the native but calculated ones.
We have repeatedly asked for direct access to the Kusto meta data, to no avail.
If your Capacity Metrics app is hosted on a Premium or Fabric capacity you can access the semantic model via Power BI Desktop and there you can see the data model.
Beware - what you see there cannot be unseen. You have been warned.
This is your chance to engage directly with the engineering team behind Fabric and Power BI. Share your experiences and shape the future.
