Extract power bi audit logs using service principal in power shell script.

Hi All ,

 

Is it possible to extract power bi audit logs using service principal in power shell, if it is possible then send me the usefull links related to service principal. Because i want to automate the power shell scripts, if i give my credentials in power shell it prompting credentials because of Multi Factor Authentication.

Hi. I'm not sure specifically about audit logs. You can check it here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-auditing#use-powershell-to-search-audi...

On the other hand, you have the activity logs that are almost the same. I'm sure you can take the activity logs because I'm doing it with python. Those can be requested with the Power Bi Rest API with a Service Principal if you have the correct configuration. You can check a code here:
