Hello,
I have a problem with this:
Yellow text: We cannot convert null value to type 'Text'. Details: Value=Type=[Type]
I need to upload data using a dataflow and this message appears for all prepared tables with date. I know there is no 'null' value in my prepared tables. I prepare these tables in SQL. Also if I download data from sql to excel and try to upload them in power bi, they upload just fine.
When I try to upload again the table from which I have already created a report, it doesn't work either. New tables don't work and old tables don't work too.
Do you know where can be a problem, please?
Hi Lena. The error is an error when running the transformations. This is thrown at Power Query. If you have any transformation or change of types with Power Query that can result in an exception. Get the pbix and refresh it or export the csv error of the refresh if you are using dataflow. You need to check if you can find the exact table with the issue and even better if you find the exact column. Then you can check one by one its Power Query transformations. If you can't find it anyway go to SQL Server and try looking for nulls or any error for the table/column.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
