Error not specified refreshing MS Access data set

Hi community!

Since a couple of days, I'm getting a failure message upon refreshing a MS Access data set:

As you can see the details are "not specified" or "unknown"

There seems to be an error related to Data Format. However, I tried refreshing a super reduced version of the report with just one table and a few rows and I keep getting the same error.

Not long ago, we updated on premise gateway version to 3000.246.5 (Nov 2024).

Any suggestions?

Do you remember the previous gateway version?  

(you probably know that .mdb is positively ancient. It requires a special 32 bit driver and has lots of locking issues.  If you can, move to something a little fresher.)

Hi @lbendlin,

Previuous version was August 2024 update (3000.234). 

I've searched the code -2147467259 and I found the following: "The HResult code -2147467259 is a generic error in Windows applications and translates to E_FAIL, which indicates an unspecified failure"

HRESULT Values

I know how bad can be working with Access... Unfortunately, I don't think migration will happen in the near future. I guess restarting the Access server won't hurt anybody.
