Dynamics CDS to DataFlow to DataSet random data showing up but refresh still ok

Hello,

I have connect my CDS to a Datafow and this Dataflow is a source to my Dataset.

1) CDS to DataFlow

No issue the data are update

2) DataFlow to Dataset desktop

No issue the data are update

3) Refresh DataSet in service

Data it's not update at all, no matter what i do. Sometimes it's all blank.

Question : Why the refresh on service never show me  "Failed" when my data are blank ?

Hi @Anonymous 

It seems that you can refresh and update the report in desktop successfully. In service, it will show blank after succeeding refresh dataset.

Could your report work normally after you publish it on service?

Please check whether there is some filters to make the visual show blank.

Please clear the cache in your browser and try again.

Could you show me the screenshots of your issue?

I'm using USERPRINCIPALNAME() to manage RLS. So when i design my report online it's ok but on desktop is not.

The soluation was to desing my report on PowerBi Desktop
