Dynamically change the style of the slicer "between specified range"

When opening a report in the Power BI service, is it possible to set the "Slicer with Style 'Between Specified Range'" to the most recent month at the time the report was opened?

Or, is there a way for viewers to easily (e.g. with one click) change the "Slicer with Style 'Between Specified Range'" and the "Slicer with Style 'Relative Date'" in the Power BI service?

Hi @yyjp

Apply a Relative Date Filter to display either the last 31 days or the current month, depending on your requirement.

Ditch the slicer and use the Filter Pane. It has options for relative ranges.

Thank you.

I didn't know that.

However, what I want to do is,
when a viewer opens it, I want the "Slicer with style "Within specified range"" to select and display the start to end of the current month, or the past 31 days.

From what you've taught me, it seems possible to change the "end date" dynamically,
but is there a way to change the start date?

I would like to operate it like this:

- When a viewer opens the report, the start to end of the current month, or the past 31 days, is selected.
- If they want to see the past or a different range, the viewer can change the date range of the slicer.

Thank you in advance.

Don't overcomplicate this.

If they want to see the past or a different range, the viewer can change the date range of the slicer

Remove the slicer. Teach them how to operate the filter pane. Trust your users to be able to learn.

Thank you.

I'm going to change the filter style when I bookmark this page.

If you have any other good ideas, I'd appreciate it.
