Hello,
I have a table visual in my report. Is there any API or any other way to ensure that any new columns added to my data model can be automatically added to the visual as well?
Also, is there any way to Select All columns from the dataset in one go while creating the table visual?
Thank you!
Hi, @monishachandi
Yes, you can use the Power BI API to dynamically add new columns to a table visual in your report. You would need to use the "updateVisual" method to modify the existing visual and add the new columns.
Regarding your second question, yes, you can select all columns from your dataset in one go while creating a table visual. To do this, simply drag and drop the table from the Fields pane onto the canvas, and all columns will be added to the visual by default.

Hello,
Thanks for your response. I am not able to find any method named updateVisual in the documentation. Please share the link for the same.
Thank you!
