Dynamic sizing

Hi. Is there a way of dynamically sizing the table visual based on the number of rows of data it contains?

I have a report, where when I use the slicer to select a specific customer, the number of rows of data can differ significantly. If I was just viewing the table it wouldn't be an issue as I could just scroll, however I export the page to PDF to send out a report, and therefore depending on the size of the table, it may not show all the rows, or may just show lots of whitespace.

Hi, I think I will look to change my current report in some way, as the paginated reports don't allow the same level of customisation and visual impact. Thanks for the advice.

Hi, If you export to PDFs often i'd suggest using Paginated Reports via Power BI Report Builder, as paginated reports are designed for printable layouts and can dynamically adjust table size based on data.

What are paginated reports in Power BI? - Power BI | Microsoft Learn:

"A major advantage of paginated reports is their ability to print all the data in a table, no matter how long. Picture that you place a table in a Power BI report. You see some of its rows in the table on the page, and you have a scroll bar to see the rest. If you print that page, or export it to PDF, the only rows that print are the ones you saw on the page."
