Dynamic RLS is throwing an data source error

Hi Everyone,

I m facing one issue in dynamic RLS. Steps i followed:

• Dax I used User = USERPRINCIPALNAME()
• I added one user to role and click on "Test as role"
• After that i m getting "This user doesn't have access to the dataset or report".
• And also Values i m getting ZERO (it means filter is not effecting)
• I have proper relationship between user table & Main table
  
  can anyone guide me or help me on this issue.

Based on your description, you are experiencing an error when configuring RLS. You can try the following to resolve your issue.

1. Verify that users are assigned the correct roles created for testing RLS (at least "viewer" access to the dataset; RLS is not intended for administrators, members, or participants).
2. Look for any syntax errors or logical problems in the DAX expression. Make sure it is used correctly in the expression.
3. Double-check the relationship between the user table and the master table. Make sure they are active and that the filters are oriented correctly.
4. Check the RLS role configuration, go to the Modeling tab in Power BI Desktop and view the RLS roles that have been set up. Ensure that the DAX filters are correctly applied to the relevant tables and that the user tables are referenced appropriately.
5. Try testing the role with a different user to see if the problem is consistent across accounts.
