Dummie question for dataverse

Hi

I have a dataflow hwo read data from a sharepoint file

This file is updated each nigth, with the remplacement of the old file

That i would like to do now is to cumulate data without changing the replacement of the old file by the new one, but i didi'nt found how to do that, and if it is possible ....

I was thinking that dataflow was the solution but

Thanks

Nicolas

Hi @nicolast29 ,

Ok, so you are getting a NEW file every day?  Then, perhaps you could just use the folder option which would combine everything for you.  OR, if you want each file separately then you can bring each days' file into your Power BI and then use your applied steps from the previous day's file to get to the resulting data that you want and then you can either append or merge the files together OR if you want them separate you can just add it to the visual(s) and then you will have each file's cumulative number.

Hey @nicolast29 ,

I am not sure that  I fully understand the question, but couldn't you use incremental refresh?  THis article explains incremental refresh in detail:  Configure incremental refresh and real-time data for Power BI datasets - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
