Direct query parameter based

Hello Experts,

Oracle database holds a ticket dataset of 10 million rows with numerous fields. The requirement is for users to input a single ticket at a time for retrieval. Due to the substantial volume and the absence of a delta pointer, importing the entire dataset is not technically viable.

Any ideas on how to create a dynamic prompt/parameter based using direct query or any other methods ?

You don't need a parameter for that.  Use a Direct Query connection and it will take care of the filtering for you.

How would the user pass a specific ticket number for data retrieval ?

I cannot pull all the 10 mill tickets data using direct query.

The requirement is for users to input a single ticket at a time for retrieval

I assume they know the ticket number?
