Direct Query and URL Filtering

Hi All,&nbsp;I am wondering if anyone has come up against the issue I'm experiencing.&nbsp;I have a dataset that is using direct query.&nbsp; Which works fine once you are in the report.&nbsp; The issue I am facing is, I have an automated process that produces a report URL passing in a filter for a particular user.&nbsp; This does not seem to trigger the direct query to get the most recent data from the database.&nbsp; It pulls the most recent cached data on the service.&nbsp;My question is how do I get Direct Query to function passing a parameter in the URL string to retrieve the most recent data?&nbsp;Any assistance would be welcome.

Thanks for the reply...the post you referenced was in regards to changing the data source using parameters. What I am trying to accomplish is triggering a direct query through URL filtering.

Right now, when I use a URL filter it displays the report with data cached in the service. I want it to refresh and pull the most recent data from the database.

All sources are set up for direct query.
