Hi everyone,
I had published my report with data set, which is automatically refreshing by simply power automate flow (trigger: when xlsx file is created in SharePoint folder ---> refresh data set).
Excel file is loaded every hours: 9 - 16 (8 times a day).
Power Automate Flow works always on time (duration about 1 min, always Succeeded), but time of data set refresh start and refresh time is sometimes so long. Usually it takes less than a minute, but sometimes a few minutes (screens below). What is the reason of this?
Excel file is always generated from application and always has the same structure, size always less than 50 KB. Data model is very simple.
I actually have Power BI Pro license (trial).

Hi @IgorD
When you have a Power BI Pro licence (or trial licence) you are sharing computing capacity will all other Power BI Pro licence users. You can't see their data etc, and they can't see yours, but you are all using the same resources provided by Microsoft. Whenever (and however) you request a refresh, this is scheduled by the Power BI service, and run when it has the capacity. When this is depends on many variables, just a few could be the number of Power BI users, the number of refreshes being requested at that time, the capacity of the Microsoft servers, if you are using a Gateway, the speed of the Gateway etc. etc. .
To quote the documentation: "The target is to initiate the refresh within 15 minutes of the scheduled time slot, but a delay of up to one hour can occur if the service can't allocate the required resources sooner. Refresh can begin as early as five minutes before the scheduled refresh time."
see: Configure scheduled refresh - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Both the Premium Per User and the Premium Capacity licence offer a more dedicated resource, to avoid contention delay (amongst other benefits).
Hope this helps
