Dataset refresh

Hi, I was refreshing datasets using Powershell script for the past two years.  Two months ago the Powerbi Gateway software was updated and the Powershell script no longer runs.

It is looking for a file in the Gateway software directory which it cannot find.

"Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files\On-premises data gateway\Microsoft.IdentityModel.Clients.ActiveDirectory.WindowsForms.dll' or
one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

Can anyone help?

Hi, I have installed the December Gateway s/w and it did not solve the issue.  Why do I need the recovery key?  is that so I don't lose all the gateway I have setup?

Look like the dll file got missed.

If you have a recovery key, please try to uninstall and clear the below cache folders and try to re-install it from the link.

C:\Users\<Profile Account>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\ [On-premises Data Gateway]

C:\Program Files\[On-premises Data Gateway]

Have you updated to the latest version of the Power BI Gateway to see if this solves your issue?
