Dataset error on scheduled refresh

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with a dataset in the Power BI service. I have set a scheduled refresh for it, but in most cases these refreshes get interrupted with an error. When I then start the refresh manually, everything works and the refresh completes.

Does anyone have an idea what I can do to solve this?

Thank you! 😊

Hi @Max_ ,

I found a few potential solutions to this error message.

One was to change privacy level in Power BI online (so that it matches the desktop setting).

Another is to ensure that the credentials are the same in the data sources and use the same privacy settings

Clear the cache in the browser to make sure you are not having some sort of browser issue

Clear the cache in Power BI desktop to confirm that you don't have some sort of app issue

Let us know if one of those does the trick!

Hi @collinq ,

I checked the privacy levels of the data sources and found out that they were different, so I changed adjusted them. Now they all have the same privacy level.  Additionally, I cleared the cache in Power BI Desktop.

Monitored this a couple of days... looks good now! 🥳

Thank you very much for you help.
