Hi,
I'd love those PowerBI sucks... but I digress.
Question: When would I consider a Datamart? It's just about data size and/or use of TSQL? If performance and cost are the same... I'd be inclined to always use Datamarts as it has the best of both worlds (SQL Server + Analysis). Is this the right approach to it?
Best,
Nestor

Hi @nsulikowski
Datamarts are recommended for customers who need domain oriented, decentralized data ownership and architecture, such as users who need data as a product or a self-service data platform .
You can consult the offical documentation related to Datamart to learn more about it.

Hi @nsulikowski
It would depend on what you are trying to achieve..
Personally for me now it is still an early preview feature with some good idea's but there would be more features to come down the line...
