Trying create a new datamart connecting to Azure SQL database.
Created a few datamarts with the same source prior to this and its was up and running before today and now I'm getting this error message after completing the neccesary SQL connection settings when trying to create a new datamart.
Also I'm getting this error message to the existing datamart that i successfully created while attempting to edit query on the existing table:

Tried on dataflow instead of datamart with the same SQL connection, it was able to connect successfully.
Was there bug or service outage currently?
Hi @mz_1122
Check to see if a firewall in Azure is blocking Power BI Desktop from accessing the database, you can refer to the following link.

Hi @Anonymous
Hmm, i was encountering this issue on the Power BI Service, specifically on Datamart, not on PBI Desktop thou.
