Hi - we have incorporated Dataflows into our Power BI pipelines for incorporating data into Datasets and it has been working great, great tool. But there are Datamarts as a preview feature. Does anyone know if Dataflows are in the long term strategy vision for the Power BI / Fabric ecosystem or are they planning on being phased out?

@mbbozzuto Dataflows are here to stay. Datamarts actually use dataflows. Plus there are Gen 2 Dataflows in Fabric. So they aren't going anywhere.

Thanks @Greg_Deckler that is great to hear. Main features that we would love to see in Dataflows in the future (maybe these are in the Gen 2 version):
1. XMLA endpoint so their definition file can be managed and modified via code source control rather than needing to edit through the UI, which can be slow sometimes. We use this for Datasets with Tabular Editor and it works nicely.
2. When a dataflow is used as a partition in a dataset, automatically adjust the dataflow used to align with the same deployment pipeline stage as the dataset it is being called from. Eg., if the dataset is in the DEV stage, then use the corresponding dataflow in its DEV pipeline stage.
