Hi All,
I have dataflow with 20days incremental refresh and 4years total, Data change is also enabled. This works fine and there is no issue but yesterday I checked and found that we don't have data for 28-Feb-2021, now the question is how we can update the data for 28-Feb-2021 without full refresh? Is there anyway I can add the missing date data?
The data source is folder with excel files which has 5mb size and it is placed daily in the folder so it's not feasible to do full refresh.
Thanks
Mukesh
Hey @Anonymous ,
you could change it temporary to refresh 30 days, then the 28th of February should be loaded.
Afterwards change it again to 20 days.
HI @selimovd ,
If we change the range from 20days to 30days it will not do full refresh after the first change?
But if we see the below message it says it will load all the data first.
Thanks
Mukesh
Hello @Anonymous ,
to be honest, I don't know for sure.
I think not, but I cannot guarantee that. You can try to test that with a similar scenario.
I would try it myself, but today I don't have the time.
Sorry for that.
Hi @selimovd
I tried it and it does full refresh so this method will not work. Any other solution can expect from the community.
Thanks
Mukesh
Hi @Anonymous
According to the design of Incremental Refresh, I'm afraid there is no option to refresh the data which is out of the refreshing date range. You can only take a full refresh to add the missing data in historical range.
