Hi PBI Community,
I'm really caught on a dataflow issue I am having. For context, this had been working in the last few weeks and stopped working today.
I have one excel file in sharepoint that is the source for all 4 queries that I have in my dataflow. 2 weird things I noticed:
1) Filtering on "latest date in a column" gets stuck buffering - especially after a merge of queries.
2) When I hit close and save it gets caught "analyzing" for 30 minutes - when it typically takes seconds. When I download the excel, all queries look good except one where it returns the error message:
"Error: PipelineException: OLE DB provider 'STREAM' for linked server '(null)' returned invalid data for column '[!BulkInsert].Fund Performance'. . RootActivityId = 141cdbc4-5296-4afc-a232-3fe0abd4bfc0.Param1 = PipelineException: OLE DB provider 'STREAM' for linked server '(null)' returned invalid data for column '[!BulkInsert].Fund Performance'. Request ID: 3f19f464-2e08-f2cc-2cdd-a838013b31a6."
I've never seen that before and all I can find were SQL forums discussing it. The dataflow I built does not utilize SQL.
Has anyone seen this or have any insight on this?
Thanks for your help in advance!
Chris
So, I got into the same error message. As soon as I turned off reference for the linked entity, refresh would be successful.
