Dataflow Credential Issues

I have an issue using the Web API connector with credentials.

 

I am trying to utilize the visualcrossing.com weather API, but everytime i try to enter the URL that the API tool creates it gives me an invalid credentials error.  I always test the URL in a web browser to see if it returns the desired JSON.  I have also tried it in desktop and it works fine.  This appears to be an issue in Dataflows only.

 

Anyone else have this issue?
