Data with current layout is unavailable as one of the exporting options

Hello,

I'm currently running the May 2022 PBI version.

When I click on export data from a matrix visual in the power bi server, I'm not getting the "Data from current layout" option.

I would like to export the data with the current data format and not get another format once I export it to excel.

Hey @ramb ,

The setting is set on the first publish. I think that you will have to delete the published version and remove it from the workspace entirely first.  Then, update the app if need be.  Then, go back to desktop, make sure that you have the setting set and then publish again.  Then update app

Hi @ramb ,

There may be a permissions issue in the Workspace, Report or App as well that might affect this.  Please review this article to see if any of these options apply:

Hi,

I'm still facing the same problem. The conditions for "Export data with current layout" to not work are not met in my dashboard. So, there is no reason for it no to work.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Hi @ramb ,

In the report settings you will need to enable this option.  That is in the Report Settings - Export Data section.

I did that and it's still not working.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the help!
