Hi,
I have a report that gets its data from an Azure SQL instance. That SQL runs on a personal account, to which i can connect from the desktop version and refresh the data. However, when i upload the report to app.powerbi.com, the data source credentials section is disabled.
I have tried changing the data source settings in the desktop version to "public" but it made no difference.
Thanks.

Hi. Is that the only source you have at your model? or do you have an excel file something like that too? Usually that's due to another source. An azure sql database shouldn't be preventing a data source credentials setting at the semantic model. Are you using the azure sql database connector at desktop to connect?

I had an excel file from a previous version of this dashboard still connected as a data source. Since i don't use it, i removed it and that fixed it. Thanks.
