I am running in to a weird issue with a dataset - there are two queries thati have "Enable load" unchecked and "Include in Refresh" still checked. However when i publish to the service and run a refresh - the data does not refresh in the model and stays static to what it was at last publish. This is also happening on the the desktop refreshesl
The data consists of a query that looks at current PDFs in a sharepoint site and parses through the tables. The other query is an xlsx archive of past PDF parsing. These two are combined to form the appended table.
When I refresh preview, and view my sharepoint location i can see the most recent files
However, when refreshing the data on PBI desktop, or publishing to the service (Power BI Premium capacity) it does not refresh the data.
This report was behaving fine until a few days ago. Has anyone experience this issue?
Hi @pstauduhar ,
Could you please tell me what version of your Power BI desktop is?

I should note that - if a re-check Enable load the data loads just fine. This is obviously suboptimum as i have to duplicate the amount of data in my report. It's not an issue for the report per se - But i have several much larger datasets that use this type of behavior and am concerned that i may have a much bigger issue on my hands
