Data flow issue - cannot figure out how to add a new column to my data flow table

Hi all,

I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out how I can add a new column that was added to our data warehouse which I now want to add to an existing data flow. 

I have tried to go into the "ChooseCols" step and attempted to add it there but it doesn't show at all. 

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Have tried looking on the community but no answers for this so far.

For dataflow, you could add a column by Edit it in Power BI service. But for dataset, product group doesn’t provide an option to open Power Query online for it. So if you would like to add a column to a dataset, you need do it in Power BI Desktop.

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I have figured out the problem and it pertained to the data source, I have managed to switch sources and that seems to have fixed the issue and I was able to pull through the columns in question.
