Data Source Error - Credentials cannot be updated

Hi

I am trying to update a report and dataset but receive this error message:

Last refresh failed: Wed Feb 10 2021 11:51:57 GMT+0100 (hora estándar de Europa central)
Scheduled refresh has been disabled.Hide details
Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh.

But Data Source credentials cannot be edited as they are in grey.

I do not use gateways and do not need one.

I have no idea why.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi @Elofly ,

Did you use gateway in your dataset? Did you configure right credential in gatway settings? Did you choose the right gateway on the above?

Please provide more details. What type are your data sources?

Hi, I have a SQL Azure database and a sharepoint.

I have tried to do some tests yesterday and the issue seems to be when I try to load an EXCEL file as a new source of data. When data is loaded and i try to publish, the dataset changed and gets this error message. I cannot re-set my configuration because then it is greyed up.

Hi @Elofly ,

Is the new excel file on-premise or in sharepoint? If you add a new data source on-premise, you need to use gateway, and configure credential in gateway settings.
