Data Refresh Issue

Hi, first-time poster on here, and i'm a relative newbie to Power BI.

I have an .xlsx file saved to sharepoint and connected to a Powerr BI report and until recently I had no issues refreshing the data, either manually or automatically.

I have the following error message:

Last refresh failed: Thu Oct 10 2019 13:41:15 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time)
There was an error when processing the data in the dataset.

Message:Excel Workbook: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. The 64-bit version of the Access Database Engine 2010 Access Database Engine OLEDB provider may be required to read this type of file. To download the client software, visit the following site: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=285987.

Now, the added complication I have is that we use Macs at work and a lot of the Microsoft downloads are not supported, therefore some reports have to be created on a WIndows laptop and published to the Service where I can access them on the Mac.

My main questions are:

- is the above issue fixable via a Mac?

- if i download the above to my WIndows laptop, will it fix the issue or will i have to recreate the report following the download?

Thanks
