Data Gateway - File Data Source - Account Lock Error

Hello,

I've just installed the Data Gateway (standard mode) to a remote server. I have a local account in there, and this machine is connected a mapping drive (shared folder). Also, my local computer that I developed the reports with Power BI Desktop app is connected. In Power BI Desktop, I gave the full path with shared folder's IP. No problem until there.

I created the data source (I gave it to full path, typed username as domain\\username), an error throws.

This is the error:

Underlying error code:	-2147467259
Underlying error message:	The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to.

Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Detail:	******\months.xlsx

Hi there

From the error it appears that the account might be locked out?

Also if you could connect via a Sharename and not via the IP Address to ensure that it works?

Account isn't locked out, I have an admin user, I can see locked-unlocked checkbox in Local users settings, it is unchecked.

Sharename not working
