I am trying to pin a visual to a dashboard.
Visual looks like this:
When creating a tile for a dashboard, I select "Keep Current Theme". But it gives me something completely different:
As you see, background has changed color (dark grey to white), both axis and legend seem invisible because they are in white.
It's more or less the same outcome when I use destination theme.
How to force power Bi to maintain the visual excactly the way it is supposed to look?
Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same issue. When I pin the visual to my dashboard and select use current theme, the background becomes white. When I select use dashboard theme, the background is correct but the data colors change (i need to keep the original colors).
No I didn't. to really fix it, I guess Power BI needs to include visual background and axis+legend font to Theme. At this point, it only looks like that the different series keep their theme and nothing else. Should be a quick fix.
hi, @vehau1
Based on my test, the background of the visual will be removed after pin to dashboard.
You can refer to below document to know how to keep original style or use dashboard background color.
Use Dashboard Themes in Power BI service
