Hi All,
I published a Power BI Dashboard to Dynamics 365 Project Service, but when I select the dashboard
it attempts to load data (spinning wheel) but then just goes grey and stops.
I tried a second different dashboard and its the same result (I tried this also as an embedded report
in an iframe on a standard dashboard and it works).
I tried it with allow everyone security and custom security but it didn't make a difference.
We have the relevant licenses for viewing.
Lastly, when I click "open in Power BI" it opens fine without issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jason

Hi All,
This issue resolved itself!
After a few days the dashboards started working.
I didn't change anything, infact I was just about to take them down when I tried them for a last time and they worked.
Could have been something updating on the system or a general system issue.
Thanks,
Jason
I'll leave this open for now in case I find the answer and then I will update.

Hi @JayPow28 ,
There are a number of different reasons why this might not be working - most of them on the Dynamics side. Do you ahve the correct "ROles" set as well? Here is an article about that: Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation Analytics: Extending PSA's reporting with Power BI Solution ... But, it also may depend on which "type" of Dynamics 365 (F&O, CRM, etc) and how the Service is setup.

Hi,
I tried with all roles and also with custom roles but neither works.
I've posted the query on the D365 PS forum too and they might have seen it before.
I think you're right and it's a D365 issue more than a Power BI one as it all works in the Power BI
apps.
Thanks,
Jason
