From another organisation I have received a link to a dataset to use for our own dashboards. However, I cannot import the dataset into our own tenant. When I click on the link I get the following message:
When I try to access the dataset by following the steps from this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-dataset-external-org-share-view I cannot even see the External Org tab.
To enable us to share this dashboard we have followed these tutorials:
Things to consider:
- I am part of the other orgs tenant as a guest user.
- I have a Power BI Premium license in my own tenant, but not in the other tenant

Hi , @SanderWinkel
According to your description, you are the external user for this sharing dataset and you want to connect the dataset in tour tenant.
First, for the Share Dataset, the link shared with an external tenant can only be used in this tenant URL.
If you want to use this dataset , you need to go to the shareing dataset's tenant ,you can ask for the URL of the corresponding tenant and access it.
Then you can see the content they shared with you in their tenant URLs, and you need to develop this dataset in their tenants.
