Hi all,
Requirement:
I am trying to setup my clients up with access to a SSAS cube. They have 2 tenants and want access to the cube on "tenant 1" from "tenant 2".
Steps so far:
I have added a guest account to "tenant 1" and added that account to the SSAS server security. I have access to the cube data via the guest account and can see the data in the dashboard/app. This data is in the cloud and therefore does not come through a gateway but connects with credentials (the guest credentials). This is a dashboard in direct query mode.
Problem:
When a "tenant 2" user logs on to view the dashboard/app they receive an error message...
Cannot load model
Couldn't load the model schema associated with this report. Make sure you have a connection to the server, and try again.
Is there a way to allow users to view the data without having them all as guest accounts?
Any help or guidance would be wonderful. Thanks in advance for reading and helping.
